What we believe

  • God is good, loving and all powerful. He is just in dealing with us.
  • Jesus is God's son born of the virgin Mary. He is fully God and fully man.
  • Sin, the violation of God's law, causes our relationship with God to be broken.
  • Jesus came to show us God and died to restore our broken relationship with God.
  • There is nothing we can do or give to be 'good' in God's sight. Only God's grace can make us good.
  • We receive God's grace only by faith in Jesus' life, death, and resurrection.
  • The Holy Spirit is God living in and through us. He continually works to make us like Jesus.
  • The Holy Spirit bestows power to witness and gifts to serve in making our lives a dynamic and potent force in this world.
  • The Bible is God's perfect word to live by.
  • Life doesn't end at death; it is the doorway to eternity. Heaven and Hell are real places.
  • It is the privilege and responsibility of every Christian to share their beliefs.
  • Jesus will physically and dramatically return to earth one day.
